How the animals came together
The story begins with the rescuers finding this little guy they named Ralphie. Someone had already taken him under their wing but they weren’t equipped to adopt.
(Correction: These photos were forwarded to us in an e-mail, and we didn’t know their origin. When the person who took them saw this post shelet us know they’re from Hurricane Katrina. See her comment below. Thanks, DanaKay, they’re great, whichever the storm!)
Ralphie, scared and starved, joins his rescuers.
I wouldn’t think anything could live thru this…. but we were wrong.
This little lady also survived that wreckage.
Here she is, just placed in the car, scared, but safe.
And now they are no longer alone.
Instant friends, they comfort each other in the car.
Add two more beagles … the more, the merrier!
A new arrival – the kitty coming over the front seat. Now, just how is this going to work?
