Entertaining a Dolphin
It’s a delightful video, but many news outlets were in fantasy land when they told their viewers that this dolphin at SeaWorld, Orlando, was “laughing” when she stopped to watch a girl doing acrobatics in the window. [readon]
Dolphins don’t have facial expressions. So, all we know is that she found it an interesting performance. Of course, anything beyond the usual parade of bland passers-by at SeaWorld would be a change of pace for a captive dolphin.
