Marilyn Walden was stepping through the remains of her home in Henryville, Kentucky, calling out to her cat, Bear.
She’d been at work when the tornado ripped through her house, tearing up the living room and collapsing the bedroom. A cameraman from the Weather Channel was with her as she sifted through the damage, always calling out in hopes that Bear was still alive.
He was. Covered in dirt and debris, Bear finally emerged from under the bed.
