Warden Who Condemned Lennox Gets Promoted
The Belfast dog warden who gave Lennox the big thumbs-down that led to his execution has been given a promotion.[readon]
Sandie Lightfoot testified under oath that Lennox was “one of the most aggressive dogs” she had dealt with, saying she was afraid to be around him. Now, as reported in Digital Journal, Lightfoot received a promotion to the post of animal welfare officer in the county of Antrim.
Lightfoot, the county dog warden, and another county employee were the only people allowed to testify at the hearing.
